Haaaii from the sky.

I’m feeling blessed to see another day and another trip. Months ago, I could not fathom the details of this Art Basel ‘23 and family cruise mission. Yet, just like that, it’s here!

I took the first leg of my flight from Las Vegas to St. Louis at 6:20 AM this morning. Now I’m on my second leg to MIA, feeling very proud of myself for seeing it through. Hiar done, nails done, everything did. Fits will be fittin, too. *shoutout to my mom’s closet*

I’m curious to see what connections, enlightenment, and opportunities this week will bring to me. Who will I meet? Who will I share a moment of deep eye contact with? What about a deep belly laugh or a rich conversation? Who will I run into from my past? Where will I dance? What lituation will I finesse my way into? Fingers crossed, only the places God wants me to be intuitively.

As I reflect, 2023 was filled with many firsts — from building an installation at Essence Fest to DJ’ing in Botswana, my wildest dreams are coming to life as I type this. I am becoming exactly who I want to be right on time.

I’m a light in the lives of others.

I give and receive love abundantly.

I bring brilliance to everything I touch.

I'm a creative genius, ok!?

I am art. Blessings to this masterpiece.


I continue to thrive in faith that what is for me will be. I pray God makes it glaringly evident. I give thanks for this space and time for my wildest dreams to materialize. I proclaim yes to the confident embodiment of who I am. Yes to laughter, hugs, and sweet, memorable exchanges.

To me freedom is…

  • Thriving in each present moment with gratitude for breath, thus life

  • Being able to transmute my energy into how I dress, what I say, and how I show up

  • Being surrounding in loving energy

  • Loving who I love — family, friend, or otherwise

  • Accessing high quality sustenance

  • Disbarring limiting beliefs

  • Experiencing the wonders this world has to offer culturally, lingually, and in nature

  • Honoring the freedom of others

  • Experiencing a full range of emotions including Laughter, joy, grief, and anger

  • Thriving in abundance, ideally with a duffle bag full of cash
